
Introduction to Urban Agriculture (PLT 3760) is a course at Cal Poly Pomona. Students author blog posts, comment on classmate posts, and submit a reflective synthesis on course-related topics during the semester.
This blog is a collaborative space where students apply and extend their knowledge beyond the classroom, writing for and teaching each other about Urban Agriculture in Los Angeles County and beyond. Students define urban agriculture, summarize small-scale production, business, and policy, analyze opportunities and challenges unique to urban agriculture, and develop basic knowledge of the applied sciences of urban farming systems.
